The Story of New Spring Herbal Biotech

The roots of New Spring Herbal Biotech trace back to the founder’s great-great-grandfather, Mr. Xu Ai, who established the original Spring Chinese Medicine Pharmacy in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

A compassionate physician, he served his community with dedication and earned the distinction of receiving the first official Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) license issued to a Taiwanese practitioner in the Taoyuan region during the Japanese colonial era.

In honor of this legacy and to usher in a new era of innovation, the brand was renamed New Spring(新和春)—symbolizing the evolution of traditional herbal wisdom into modern life.

Today, New Spring Herbal Biotech proudly offers over 200 self-developed products, reaching customers in more than 78 countries and regions worldwide. Our postpartum care products alone have supported over 50,000 mothers.
